Eyevan

In 1972, under the concept of "eyewear for dressing as a fashion accessory", EYEVAN was born as Japan's first fashion eyewear brand. A combination makes the products of EYEVAN of craftsmen's handwork and state-of-the-art machine tools in Sabae, Fukui prefecture, which stands first in the production of eyewear in the world.

With the traditional and the latest processes, many of its designs, looking at first glance simple, are artful. Only a handful of exceptionally skilful craftsmen in Sabae make eyeglasses one by one through about 400 processes.

Therefore, they are more like artworks than industrial products.
