Eyevan was founded in Tokyo in 1972 under Kensuke Ishizu, built on a simple idea for its time: glasses as a fashion accessory, not just a medical tool.

Frames are still crafted in Sabae, the town most of Japan’s fine eyewear comes from.

Considered, not chasing

Eyevan has always aimed for proportions that feel right rather than loud — a middle ground between overly trend-driven and overly conservative design, refined further since a 2018 relaunch under new creative direction.
