Same-day lenses, cut in house

Once you have found the right frame, you shouldn’t have to wait long to wear it. Every lens we fit is cut and shaped to your frame in our own workshop at the Middle Park shop, a few minutes from Albert Park, South Melbourne and St Kilda, so many prescriptions are ready the same day.

We do not do eye tests in Melbourne. Bring a current prescription from your own optometrist and we will take it from there.

We keep single vision lenses in the shop covering prescriptions from −4.00 to +4.00. If yours falls within that range, we can usually cut and fit your lenses on the spot, so the frame you chose leaves with you rather than days later.

WITHIN 24–48 HOURS

Nearly every single vision lens, within two days

When your prescription isn’t on our shelves, nearly all single vision lenses can be ordered in and cut within 24 to 48 hours. That covers every index, from standard lenses to the thinnest materials for stronger prescriptions, and astigmatism corrections of up to −2.00 cylinder.

SUNGLASSES & TINTS

Prescription sunglasses, without the wait

Prescription sunglasses shouldn’t be an afterthought. We keep coloured sunglass lenses in stock that can be cut on the spot, and sunglass tints and softer fashion tints are ready within 24 hours. Fully custom prescription tints, including a tint matched to a colour you bring in, take about 14 days.

MADE TO ORDER

Progressive and specialised lenses

Progressive lenses, office and digital lenses, sports wrap lenses and anything else made for one particular prescription are produced individually by the lab, then cut and fitted here in our workshop. Depending on the lab and the lens material, they take from 3 to 14 days.
