Started by brothers Justin and Jeremy Heit and their friend Jordan Percy, Raen grew out of Southern California’s surf and skate culture — a reaction to the era’s loud, oversized, heavily-branded sunglasses.

Every pair is still handmade, still designed in-house on the coast where it began, and the founders have been open about staying independent by choice rather than necessity — a real rarity in eyewear at this scale.
