Across the Atlantic, a radical Pop-Art scene blossomed with exciting, new visions from audacious young talents like Warhol and Lichtenstein, who relied on the bold shapes, pops of bright color and dot-matrix patterns echoed by Virgo. Virgo’s impressively sculpted full-acetate face builds on new color possibilities that are just as eye-catching as those seen on ‘60s screens and canvases, with strong black, powerful orange and an enticing grey-pink swirl fronts perfectly framed by striking lines of contrasting enamels.
