KINGSMAN 9001/DARK TURTLE

Description

The 9001 was closely developed in collaboration with the costume team for The Kingsman and the Cutler and Gross design studios in London and Italy. The model is based on an Edwardian frame which was worn low on the nose, without nosepads. Originally, the frame was made of real tortoise shell which gave the eyewear its colour and strength. We have used our specialised acetate techniques, passed down between generations, to create a model which looks and feels like an antique tortoise shell. Lovingly recreated in our own factory, using high quality Italian acetate instead of tortoise shell. Added 10mm nosepads and increased size give this period frame modern day comfort.
