Bill Barton and Patty Perreira met while running Oliver Peoples together. When it was sold to Oakley in 2006, the pair walked away and started again from scratch, determined to keep full creative control this time.

Every frame is still handmade by the same Japanese artisan workshops, taking weeks per pair, using solid titanium and plant-based acetates. Barton has put it simply: the goal was to build “without compromise” — a founder-led standard that’s held for nearly two decades.

Part of the wider world of independent eyewear — not necessarily something we carry, but always something we’re happy to talk about.
